Day one

was.... a complete failure. In retrospect it was probably a bad idea to start this on the day I was moving out of my dorm. Instead of listing all the ways I failed I'm going to go ahead and talk about my goals for this break.

I'm not going to fixate too much on what I'm eating. I'm going to track my calories with an app. I'm trying to stay within 1200 calories a day, and trying to be mindful of what I'm eating, but if I want a piece of chocolate cake imma eat a piece of chocolate cake. I am going to drink 3 liters of water every day.

I'm also going to run 6 days a week. I'm going to follow a couch to 5k app which I tried once last summer, but quit about half way through. The app is an 8 week program but I'll probably finish it faster because it's designed for someone running 3 days a week. I'm sure that I will have to repeat some days though, so it will take me more than four weeks. We'll see where I am at the end of break.

I might do some kind of strength training exercise too. I'm not really sure though... I'll only do it if I find a good app :p.

Also Adira (adiradooley.blogspot.com) did this nifty thing where she logged her weight and what she ate and how much she exercised. I'll start doing that everyday too. Except my weight I'll only update that once a week.
